Fun activities:

My manager Alejandro runs an eco-tourism business called Costa Nativa. He can take you kayaking, hiking, local cave tour or even up to some waterfalls for some adventure. Check out the website for many fun activities www.costanativa.com.mx.  You can also talk to him about his tours when you arrive.

I am an avid surfer and so I spend a lot of time surfing the point out at the tip of the Bay in front of the house (We are located on the north side of Manzanillo Bay) there are also some fun smaller waves in the middle of the Bay. There are some rocks in some areas so do your swimming in the middle of the Bay in front of Haceinda Eden (2 minute walk south down the beach).  

There is a nice easy wave called Boca that is about two miles to the North on a big open beach.  Also a wave called Saladita about 15 minutes North.  Good for long boarding and beginners.  Alejandro can show you how to get there when you arrive.

Local restaurants we like:

Hacienda Eden:  Very nice restaurant with great ambiance and varied menu.  Two minute walk south on the beach.

Inn at Manzanillo Bay: Nice restaurant on south end of the Bay.  Great fish tacos and local made tequila.  Many delicious local meals.

Tropical Amor: Great variety of food. Really fun outdoor setting with live music and great cocktails.

Cafe Sol: Great for a daytime sandwich or breakfast, and they also have good ice cream.  Also good for inexpensive tacos and sports events in the evening.  Very popular with the locals and a fun place to hang out.

Roberto’s Bistro:  Argentinian style steaks and seafood.  One of the best steaks I have ever had is called the “Vacio”.  I don’t eat too much red meat but this one is worth it!

La Mexicana: Great Mexican food dishes from all parts of Mexico.

Costa Brava:  Good local seafood.
